Bio

About Me

I came to audiobook narration via an unconventional path.  I’ve enjoyed a career as a registered interior designer, but in 2021, I experienced a difficult life transition that led me to work on my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I read many books along the way and experienced exponential growth.  As I continued on my development journey, I felt the desire to help others the way that I had been helped.  When I realized that I could accomplish this mission by being  the voice on the other side of the headphones, I got excited.  Because of this, I am most at home reading books on self development, mental and physical health, inspirational non-fiction, relationships, and Christian faith.

Originally from Illinois, I now reside in the Tampa, Florida area with my husband, daughter, and son. A dog lover, I also have 2 rescues, a beagle and a “Heinz 57” dog. I have a lot of interests, love adventure, and am a big believer in lifelong learning. I’ve done a lot of things, including Irish dancing, cartooning, writing, and playing several musical instruments. Currently, I am a 10+ year CrossFitter, avid Disney Park goer, and enjoy expanding my chef skills for friends and family. You also might find me waterside connecting with a friend over a really good cup of coffee, which is just the feel that you get from my narration style.

I’ve completed The Great Audiobook Adventure course with Elise Arsenault and have done volunteer work as a narrator. I have a warm, rich, mezzo-soprano Midwestern US voice, and my accent abilities include US Southern, British, and Irish, among others. In addition to the genres mentioned above, I also enjoy narrating biographies, memoirs, psychology, philosophy, women’s fiction, rom-coms, children’s books, history, and parenting books.

People fascinate me, motivate me, and inspire me to impact lives for the better. I love to learn about people’s histories, backgrounds, thoughts, and behaviors. Audiobook narration allows me to tell their stories, connect with listeners, and give them insight and resources, as well as continue to learn myself!
